Conformed and Transformed

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world but be transformedby the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

God has opened the door for us to be conformed to the image of Christ and make the transformation into the people He's created us to be but we have to decide for ourselves to go through that  door.

If we're conformed to this world, we're hindering God's plans to usher in His world and hindering God's plans to conform us into the image and likeness of Christ.
