Challenges of Discipleship:Being Led By The Spirit

In previous weeks we talked about how God is developing us as people and raising us as His family and how in order to accomplish this, He does not want to use Power and Might but only His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the only person who can accomplish the purposes of God in our lives. Talent, strength, force, natural ability, money, education, social influence cannot accomplish in us what God wants to accomplish. 

The Holy Spirit is the only person capable of transforming our hearts and making us into the people God has purposed us to be. Understanding that God's purposes are not our own is a challenge of discipleship.Understanding the purpose that God has for us is the only way we will submit to His Will and allow ourselves to be Led by the Spirit
