A Heart That Hears Jesus

John 10:27  My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Hearing the voice of Jesus is essential if we are to follow Jesus. This is what sets Jesus disciples apart from other people. It follows then that the reverse is also true, if we don’t hear his voice, we won’t follow Him.

Cattle, are driven, manipulated and poked and prodded from behind to go in the direction, they're being driven, but sheep are led by the voice of the shepherd. Which means we must listen for the voice of Jesus to follow Jesus.
