Episode 6 –Into the Depths

The group further explore the Dark Isle, working their way onwards to undertake their quest of finding out what has happened to the missing bodies taken from their graves.  Return the bodies if they can, or stop them from being able to be raised as undead.  Having slain both the apprentice wizard that tried to charm the Halfling, and the human fighter, they approach the old keep.

This podcast is several of us using the original Basic rules from the red box set out in the early 1980's, and the Cyclopedia.  It's great fun to listen to.  It uses the THACO system (To Hit AC zerO) which only two of us had used before, but it has a very definite different feel to the whole system: Elves, Dwarfs and Halflings are Demi Humans and are their own class as well as race, Humans can be Fighters, Magic Users, Clerics or Thieves, and it's very definitely worth a listen.
