What do you want others to do for you? How do you want people to treat you? What kindness do you desire from family or friends? Jesus makes it very clear - whatever you want others to be doing for you, you should do for them. This is not something passive - it is something active. Listen as Nate and Gabe exhort us to allow Christ to actively love others through us!
There is no room for selfishness in the Christian life. As we examine what we commonly refer to as “The Golden Rule”, may our hearts be stirred to see our selfish focus and shallow pursuits for what they are, and turn to Jesus. He has given Himself to us, and only by His life in us are we able to lay down ourselves to our Father’s will for the sake of others.
