Why My Parents Think I’m Rich Because I Order DoorDash

I've spent way too much time thinking about why my parents think ordering DoorDash is a sign of wealth. I mean, they act like I'm rolling in cash just because I opt for delivery instead of hunting my own food like we're still living in the Ice Age. It's like they think my DoorDash driver is a butler and that I pay him in yacht shares. Meanwhile, I'm over here tipping with whatever change I find in my couch cushions. My thoughts on why ordering takeout is the new gold standard of luxury that nobody asked for but you're getting anyway.
