Guess what the selfie culture has gone and done? It's made us ego-centric maniacs like never before. In truth, great advertising has never been about a company. It's always been about the buyer. Today, more than ever your marketing message has to make your buyer feel special, and understood, and well... you get the idea! So why do so many companies still stubbornly insist on making their marketing all about them? I haven't figured that one out yet, but I'm guessing this is just because they don't know any better.
