#64 Tired of listening to boring on-hold messages? Try one of these in your business

One of the easiest ways to make your company go viral - is to do something that makes people laugh - and want to share with others.  One of the easiest ways to do this is by taking the humble on-hold message and infusing it with your company's own brand of wit. No one is expecting an on-hold message to be anything other than boring elevator music, or possibly a sales pitch recorded in a mono-tone, so once again doing something the opposite to what everyone else is doing - is going to make your business stand out.  This works especially well for professional offices - like doctors', dentists' and lawyers' offices - which usually are so ultra-serious. Granted, humor needs to be a part of your brand and something that reflects your personality - but have a listen to some of these messages and see if this is something you could do.

PS How do you know if people are enjoying your new on-hold messages? If they mention it to you or your staff, share it on social media, or talk about it - in any capacity, then you know you've got it right.... and it sure beats the alternative ... people hanging up or rolling their eyes from boredom.
