Being an entrepreneur - a real entrepreneur that is, is not for everyone. Yes it sure seems like calling yourself an entrepreneur is the default response given when someone isn't sure what they want to do with their lives, or is between jobs, or who thinks their next song is their ticket to fame and billions.
Being a real entrepreneur is also different from being a business owner. When you own a business, you've basically just created a job for yourself, instead of working for someone else. This is applaudable for sure, but it's not being an entrepreneur.
A real entrepreneur is someone who sees a gap in a market, seizes the opportunity, finds a team to help them implement, and then moves on to the next opportunity - thereby creating for themselves a series of assets that they can manage, but not have to work in. This takes a totally different skill set, nerves of steel and a willingness to keep pushing when others fall by the wayside.
If you're an entrepreneur (or think you might be one) - welcome. This episode will give you a shot of inspiration. I'm glad you're here.
