Phone Distraction, our smartphone is probably one of the most—if not the most—distracting things in your life. However, it can also be a valuable tool for staying in touch with people, listening to music, capturing photos, or navigating. 


To help you follow these tips:


  • Put your phone on flight mode before you go to sleep. This way, when you wake up, you’re not immediately sucked into new messages and notifications.

  • Go on walks without your phone, and simply enjoy your surroundings. Grab coffee with a friend and be fully present in the conversation. 

  • Identify a few replacement activities to fall back on for when your brain craves stimuli and distraction

  • Learn to regulate your on/off switch. When you’re ‘on’, put your phone away and focus on your work. When you’re ‘off’, learn to let go of your work and relax. It’ll make both your work and your personal life a lot more fruitful.
