Ed Agg grew up on the English southern coast. He cherishes the memory of following his dad, a lover of Claret, through wine stores, thumbing through a wine guide and matching the wines in the guide with those he spotted on the shelf. Ed was reading about Grand Cru Burgundy and First Growth Bordeaux long before he was drinking them. Then Ed hit drinking age. His love of wine flourished. Ed’s job eventually led him from the far away European shores to Australia and Ed’s wine world expanded exponentially. Now, Ed has always been creative and relatively social media savvy. Anyone who has seen his online content on the CellarPost will know this. It was at the start of the COVID 19 pandemic that Ed decided to blend his passion for wine with his penchant for creativity and social media. Ed’s content and the CellarPost immediately found traction and Ed has cemented his place in the online wine world. Ed’s passion is wine, wine making and providing a platform on which authentic wines and wine makers can display the fruit of their labour. Ed recently joined me for a thoroughly enjoyable conversation in which his shared his story, his reflections on his work and his vision for the future. A massive thanks to Ed for joining me.
