Have you heard the story about the Irishman who married the Italian woman and started a winery? Well, you better tune into Tim Donegan’s story which also happens to be the story of what is arguably Australia’s smallest commercial winery. Tim Donegan started Trocchio wines as a side hustle to appease his love of wine and to see where it would lead. One thing led to another and his accountant advised that the way things were heading, Tim should take a closer look at his winery’s commercial structure – an indication of growth. Now, while Tim still works full time, he has a devoted following who keep him crafting his wines. But it doesn’t stop there. Those who have come across Tim can appreciated that he is a people person who loves nothing more than sharing his love of wine with others. Tim leaves a wake of wine appreciators in his trail wherever he goes. So it is with that love of wine that Tim and I sat down to talk about Tim’s story.
