On Thursday the 25th of May, Campion College was delighted to welcome Gray Connolly as the guest speaker at Formal Hall.
Graham Alfred Frederick (Gray) Connolly is a barrister and writer in Sydney. He also lectures in Australian constitutional law at Sydney University, is the examiner in constitutional law for the Legal Profession Admission Board and serves part-time as a Senior Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. He has served previously as a Naval Intelligence officer in the Royal Australian Navy.
In his Formal Hall address, Mr Connolly provided a brief history of the Australian Constitution and shared a balanced account of the implications that may arise from constitutional amendments such as the proposed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament and the Executive Government of the Commonwealth of Australia.
