Seen, Known, and Needed: Equipped for the Work, Called to Be You! 

This week, Glen Nyhus steps in with a deeply honest and thoughtful reflection on Ephesians 4, drawing from personal stories, scripture, and his own journey of learning to see the church—and himself—differently.

What if the church isn't a perfect place or a show to watch, but a living, breathing community where God’s wisdom is displayed in all its messy, beautiful variety? Glen explores how we often default to passivity or comparison, trying to fit into someone else’s spiritual mold, when in fact God is calling each of us to be fully ourselves. We’re not meant to replicate others’ gifts—we’re meant to live into our own, because each part does its own special work, helping the whole body grow in love.

Glen challenges us to release unrealistic expectations, embrace our unique callings, and trust that God is actively at work in us now—not just in some idealized future. You are already on God’s poster wall—not for being perfect, but for being you.
