#272 - Is There A Better Way? with Dr. DeWitt Wilkerson

In this episode, I am delighted to be joined by none other than Dr. DeWitt Wilkerson, a true trailblazer in the field of dentistry. Inspired by the wisdom of his mother, a woman firmly rooted in the 1920s, Dr. Wilkerson's career took an unexpected turn leading to the discovery of integrative dental medicine. This revelation has since transformed his life. Join us as we explore this goldmine of knowledge about the unlimited potential of dentistry, reaffirming the importance of continual learning and vision in achieving success.

Who is Dr. DeWitt Wilkerson
Witt grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he spent 100’s of hours on the golf course. He later played with the golf team at the University of Florida. After completing dental school at UF in 1982, he moved back to St. Pete, joining the prestigious practice of Dr. Peter Dawson. Over the past 30+ years, Witt has taught classes at the Dawson Academy, where over 40,000 dentists have studied Occlusion, Restorative Dentistry, and TMD. Over the past 10 years, Witt’s focus has been directed toward elevating Dentistry as a true specialty field of medicine and complete health, coining the term: “Integrative Dental Medicine.” Witt and his wife Patricia have been married 43 years and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. The family enjoys attending UF Gator football games and traveling together.
