Negative self-talk can be so much a part of the running dialogue in your head that you may not even notice it. Today Dr. Tarryn MacCarthy talks about how negative self-talk deeply affects every aspect of your day and life. She also shares how you can turn the negative into positive through self-compassion. When we can “be with” our feelings, with non-judgmental awareness, we can see ourselves and our situation more clearly. We aren’t doing ourselves any favors by avoiding our feelings and suppressing them. All this does is exaggerate and intensify our feelings when they resurface again.
