A leap of faith is the act of believing in or accepting something outside the boundaries of reason. It’s doing the first step to reaching your dreams despite not knowing the outcome. Well, today’s guest did all that and more for the fulfillment of his dreams. Today Dr. Tarryn MacCarthy sits down and chats with Dental Hygienist Morris Mugo, RDH, about his journey from being a child growing up in Kenya to achieving his dreams of coming to America and living a fulfilling life through countless leaps of faith and unending trust in the goodness of people

Maurice was born and raised in a small village in Eastern Kenya. He attended school at Masai Mara University before immigrating to the US in 2013. He graduated from dental hygiene school in  2018. He currently practices as a dental hygienist in the Washington DC area. He is passionate about dental mission trips, wildlife conservation, and Group African safaris combined with Continuous education credits. He is the founder of Safari N smiles which takes medical and dental professionals on African Safaris and Mission trips.
