#113 - Stepping Into Who You Really Are with Angela Mulrooney

In this episode, Dr. Tarryn MacCarthy invited Retired Dentist, Personal Branding Expert, and CEO of Unleashing Influence Inc., Angela Mulrooney to talk about her journey from doing what she has always dreamed of doing since two years old, getting the diagnosis that would end that career, striking gold after a year of speaking about niching and branding on LinkedIn, and now being able to change the world with her knowledge of personal branding.

Dr. Angela Mulrooney is a retired dentist turned personal branding expert. She had built a referral-based, niche dental practice that allowed her to do the dentistry she loved on clients that she loved while earning more and working less. Overnight, she lost everything after sustaining a career-ending injury that killed her ability to do the job she loved.

Unsure of what the future held, she took to LinkedIn and started speaking about niching and branding. She went from two hundred to twelve thousand industry followers in a year. Her rise on LinkedIn drew attention from other professionals, and she started being asked to coach professionals in disparate industries on creating personal brands on LinkedIn.

She was hired to speak at conferences internationally, be a guest on podcasts, and share her knowledge with the world.
