Episode 15- The Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Part 2- The KKK and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference

The Burros dive into a deep pool in their latest study of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the issue of racism in societies around the globe and here in the United States. The KKK, believed to be based on Christian principles, and at one time had a membership of over 5 million Americans. After further research into the group they discover the true foundation of their organization at the end of the Civil War and how it infiltrated the churches much later and gained a larger following through the use of a film titled "Birth of a Nation". While looking at the KKK, they juxtapose it with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and learn more about the organization and its front man, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Looking through the eyes of Luke's Gospel at the Resurrection they find the differences and similarities it has with the Gospel of Mark and the telling of one of the most pivotal moments in human history.
