Heteriik_ "La Brillance Des Maux" Review by Corey Leverette

French black metallers Heteriik released their first full-length in March. "La Brillance Des Maux" is an exploration of many disorders of character and their manifestations. Between mystical delusions and cold consciousness, the goal is to guide the listener through each track, projecting themselves as a captive spectator accompanying the character on their journey, in their case. The music, ever so ghostly and visceral, alternates between sound experiments and musical tracks with more "traditional" forms in a more classical pattern than on the previous opus.
