Depression and Teenage Suicide

My name is Zoe, and I’m a 9th grader at Waterloo High School in Austin. I’ve prepared a really important topic today一 teen depression and suicide. It is a huge issue that needs to be brought to light. As we have started the digital age, depression rates among teens are skyrocketing, and the number of teens committing suicide today is increasing. Why is this? We’ll also cover the questions; “What is depression?” “How is it caused?” “How does it affect the brain?” “What can be done about it?” And many other questions you might have about this topic.
