Janet has recently released a new book of art photographs, titled I've Been Walking, which documents her exploration through the streets of Los Angeles immediately following the dawning days of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. The interview covers the origin of Janet's method and the beginning of her use of the disposable camera as a tool; her contributions as an author and as an editor, in the seminal book The Writer on her Work; and her thoughts on boundaries and borders.
