Author Donna Galanti discusses her latest middle grade novel, Unicorn Island. It is the first book in a new series about a young girl who discovers a mysterious island off the coast of South Carolina, an island full of mythical beasts and darker dangers. After writing several books for adults, Donna tried her hand at books for kids and found her niche with middle grade stories. Unicorn Island is her second MG series. Her first series includes Joshua and the Lightning Road and Joshua and the Arrow Realm.
