1. Appropriate Grace: James 4:6

a. God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble

2. Be Subject to God: James 4:7a

a. Submit therefore to God (7a)

3. Resist the Devil: James 4:7b

a. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (7b)

4. Draw Near to God: James 4:8a

a. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you (8a)
