d. It is impossible to renew them again (v6)

e. Rain should produce fruit from tilled land (v7)

f. If not, the thorns and thistles will be burned (v8)

3. The Certainty of Salvation - 6:9-20

a. Hold fast, better things from salvation are coming (v9)

b. God has not forgotten your work, love, and ministry (v10)

c. Persevere to realize the full assurance of hope (v11)

d. Don’t be sluggish, imitate those who have shown faith (v12)

e. God has sworn by Himself He would fulfill promises (v13)

f. “I will surely bless you and I will surely multiply you” (v14)

g. Having patiently waited, he obtained the promise (v15)

h. God is the highest authority, His Word settles the issue (16)

i. That which God promises, He will fulfill (v17)

j. Two unchangeable things were given by God, the Promise and the Oath (v18)

k. This hope of spiritual maturity is an anchor of the soul (v19)

l. Because Jesus is in the inner veil of the Holy of Holies (v20
