c. They have already been enlightened, made partakers of the Holy Spirit, tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come (v4-5)

d. It is impossible to renew them again (v6)

e. Rain should produce fruit from tilled land (v7)

f. If not, the thorns and thistles will be burned (v8
