All that's evil is not created equal. Marissa and Megan start off this podcast by discussing our most recent reads before we dive into an in-depth discussion of several great antagonists and what makes them so great at being bad.

We start with a discussion of the eight main categories of villains: The Anti-Villain, The Beast, The Bully, The Machine, The Mastermind, Evil Incarnate, The Henchman, and The Fanatic. From there, we break down the characteristics that make those bad guys/gals/enbies so amazing to hate.

Expect us to also discuss Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, The Shining by Stephen King, Matilda by Ronald Dahl, Harry Potter series by No One,  Othello by Shakespeare, No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins, An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao, Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkein, IT by Stephen King, and several others.

From there, we discuss our upcoming reads and announce our next podcast topic.
