I was recently having a conversation with a friend, and we were talking about how so often we talk ourselves out of pursuing the things that we feel passionate about. This conversation inspired this episode because I believe this is something that we all struggle with or have struggled with in our lives. So often we are so quick to disqualify ourselves before we even begin something. Maybe we don't feel good enough, smart enough, strong enough, whatever it may be and we use that as our excuse to hold us back and keep us from pursuing the things that we are passionate about. In the Bible we learn of the story of Moses, that is found in the book of Exodus, and we learn about how Moses didn't feel qualified, he felt inadequate and God still used him. I believe that story is a story of hope for us. God sees past all of our insecurities and weakness's and see's who He created us to be. And just like with Moses, He wants to use us in spite of our weakness. I believe we need to start using our weakness's and insecurities as a story of hope for others. We need to use it as if to say "If God can use me, He can use you". "If God can use me, in my shortcomings, He can use you." Let's surround ourselves with our community of friends and people in our life to lift one another up and encourage one another.
