Life In Community

God wants us to be in community with others. Part of that is being able to be real and share our lives with one another. Sometimes being vulnerable with our lives can be scary. We take a risk when we open up to people but the reward is so much greater than the risk. Oftentimes we don’t want to open our lives up to people because we feel if they see that our life isn’t perfect they will judge us. It’s just like when we spontaneously invite someone over to our home and think, “is this person going to judge me because my home isn’t tidy or clean?” ( I share a story on this in this episode ) Here’s the thing, people don’t care that our lives or homes aren’t perfect, they care if we let them in or not. They care when we invite them in and choose to share our life with them.
