If you’re not a native English speaker you might feel nervous or reluctant to teach in English. Words get lost in translation or don’t fully reflect what you really want to say. Sometimes you don’t know the word at all and, especially when teaching yoga, it may make you worry people don’t understand you.
Well, help is on the way! In this episode, I’m talking to Annie from Enga Unite. Annie speaks and teaches in several languages and knows exactly what it feels like to not be fully comfortable with your personality in every language.
At Enga Unite, Annie helps multilingual yogis become knowledgeable and inclusive teachers so that they can share their passion, teach yoga in English with confidence, and get access to jobs and business opportunities worldwide. Because not having English as your first language is a strength, not a weakness!
