Ana Maria Gonzalez is the Chief Sustainability Officer, at Fundación por la Educación Multidimensional (FEM) a Cartagena-based non profit that helps local rural ethnic communities in Colombia secure their land ownership, self governance, and resource allotment. Her team has successfully formalized land rights for over 16.000 people in the Colombian Caribbean. Ana shares how she found her purpose, her ways of managing the stress of running an organization on the ground amidst harsh conditions, and the biggest lessons she has learned personally and professionally. Above all, this is a conversation about redefining success, purpose, and the importance of striving for progress not perfection when it comes to handling stress.
