 Learn In This Podcast: Why willpower will not help you accomplish your fitness goals and tools to use to help you leverage your unconscious mind to create automations in your behavior that will ultimately help you change your bad behaviors and reach your goal!

Tool so help you become more present and aware of your emotions & thoughts:

Practice Mindful Breathing:

  • Take slow, deep breaths
  • Focus on the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body.
  • Allow your breath to anchor you to the present moment.

Meditation:

  • Use guided meditations or focus on your breath. 
  • Let go of thoughts as they arise and bring your attention back to the present.

Engage in Nature:

  • Spend time outdoors and connect with nature. 
  • Notice the sights, sounds, and smells around you. 
  • Walk mindfully, paying attention to each step.

Body Scan Meditation:

  • Lie down comfortably and focus on each part of your body. 
  • Scan from head to toe, paying attention to any tension or sensations. 
  • Release tension and relax each body part.

Unplug from Technology:

  • Take breaks from electronic devices. 
  • Disconnect from social media and emails for a designated period. 
  • Engage in activities that don't involve screens.

Journaling:

  • Write down your thoughts and feelings. 
  • Reflect on your experiences and emotions. 
  • This can help you become more aware of patterns and triggers.

Practice Gratitude:

  • Regularly acknowledge and appreciate the positive aspects of your life. 
  • Keep a gratitude journal to document things you're thankful for. 
  • This helps shift your focus to the present and positive aspects.

Silent Reflection:

  • Spend time in silence. 
  • Find a quiet space and simply be present with your thoughts. 
  • This can help you become more attuned to your inner self.
