The Delight in Discipling Others with Marlene Luna de Flete

Our personality is a gift, and even though it can feel really hard to follow God when you don’t feel like you’re naturally wired for the work, it’s always worth it!

Today we’re reflecting on Matthew 28:16-20 as we discuss what discipleship looks like on a day to day basis. 

May we all delight in the opportunities we have to leverage our lifestyle as the greatest discipleship tool at our disposal.

I have the pleasure of talking with my hermana, Marlene Luna de Flete, who is the director of Chica Verdadera in The Dominican Republic. She encouraged us to trust the intensity of our work to the Lord and follow His leading. 

Marlene encouraged our hearts as we talked about 

• the opportunity to trust in the Lord when He calls us to partner with Him more boldly;
• the delight available to us when we say yes to discipling others;
• the hardest part of discipling the next generation;
• and the ability to partner with the Holy Spirit.
