Sometimes as parents we can keep the lid tight on our kids. Wrapping them in the proverbial cotton wool they need to feel safe in the world. But on the rare occasion we let them up for air, and like the French, who wouldn't let their 5 year old drink wine with their Beef Bourguignon?
