Episode 17. Aimee Gibbard

In the seventeenth episode of the Be Velocity podcast, Aimee Gibbard joins us to talk about her experiences at Loughborough University Motorsport and being a Team Leader there. 

Aimee has progressed in her various roles even though she’s had some battles along the way which has never held her back. You must listen to her story and how she’s proved her teachers wrong at the age of 23. Regardless of your background, there is always a way in achieving your goals and Aimee is honored to be the first female Team leader at Loughborough University Motorsport.

Aimee does discuss where her love for engineering comes from, her ambition to work in F1 and how Gemma Hatton has inspired her. Also, we find out a little bit about her time at Red Bull Racing Honda F1 Team.
