93. Reggie Deal: Baseball Yoda, 30 Parks in 30 Days, & Life as a Blind Baseball Fan

Reggie Deal is an Astros fan currently living in San Marcos, Texas. He was born blind and learned to love sports via radio broadcasts. We discuss how baseball quickly rose to the top as his favorite game, how the energy of a ballpark crowd can tell you a lot about what is happening on the field, and how baseball is a lot like chess. 

We also discuss why Reggie’s friends call him Baseball Yoda and how he has a knack for tying important milestones back to baseball. Reggie also shares tips learned from his 2012 adventure where he visited all 30 MLB parks in a 30 day span, and advice on how to plan your own adventure.
