Fabrice the Artist is here this week! Fabrice the Artist, but not just any artist! Fabrice is a highly skilled hyperrealism pencil artist. The episode kicks off with Fabrice sharing how he got into art when he was very young and also shares his history as a personal trainer which he left near the start of COVID, specifically when lockdowns were imposed, to become a full time artist. He wasn’t going to take it lying down so he shifted his mindset to make the most of it.

Having Fabrice join Kaylor on the show is a bit outside of the typical conversations you would probably hear and it was definitely a welcomed conversation! They get into a variety of subjects including art, creativity, mastery, flow state and making mistakes. Fabrice’s star is on the rise and his work has been getting noticed and shared. They jam on imposter syndrome and narcissism. The conversation then turns to mental health and addiction. Kaylor and Fabrice talk about why people turn to addiction and the brain seeking meaning through other pleasure mechanisms. They’re getting into all that and so, so much more! Fabrice was also recently permanently banned from Twitter after posting an Elon Musk drawing that received over 3M views and you definitely want to hear about that. Guest Bio:

Fabrice Goosens is a hyperrealism pencil artist and former personal trainer. He graduated from St. FX University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics in 2017. He's been working as a personal trainer since 2012 but decided to pursue art full-time in 2021. Fabrice has been passionate about drawing since the age of 8. With multiple periods of time away from art, he has been working at his craft every day since 2019, constantly striving to be the best artist he can be.
