The only question is what will franchise dealers, the government, and large and small dealership owners do to stop them. After all, it is the dealership model that made car makers so successful around the world over the past 100 - 120 years right?

Now we all know that a lot is changing in retail in every area these days but at the end of the day it has and will always be about customers and automotive retailers are for the most part better than most businesses at dealing with customers. There is always room for improvement, and the model is certainly changing as the world changes, but are the OEMs really better than the dealers?
