Episode #147 of The Athletes Podcast features Hannah Sharts, Captain of the University of Colorado Boulder women's soccer team. Hannah is pursuing her masters in organizational leadership. She was born in Simi Valley, California. Her Father played baseball at the University of Cal State Northridge & in the minor leagues for the Cleveland Indians, her Mother played soccer at UCLA, and you’ll hear all about her sibling rivalry in the episode.
Hannah created the first fundraiser for the CU women's soccer team and is an advocate for women's sports off the field on social media. In the episode, we discuss everything from her family's athletic background, to the advantage of playing at an elevation for home games, and her transferable skills from studying leadership in the classroom to applying them on the field. Stick around til the end to hear her biggest piece of advice for the next generation of athletes.
