Does it make a difference if you do your MAF test on the trails or on the Roads?

In the is edition of Ask Coach Parry, the question has been raided, should you do your MAF test on the roads only? Does the technical aspect of the trails make a difference if you are wanting to do a MAF test on the trails? Is it advisable to do a MAF test on the trails if you are a trail runner?
