Born in a 'cave' in Scotland, Alex Scade is an artist who also runs a wildlife sanctuary near Allihies in West Cork. He has lived off the grid for many years and is well-known and admired locally for his unconventional way of life and his care and rehabilitation of animals and birds in particular.
