I was on my bed and received a message, "the translator said don't hard-sell. You spoke too much about the product last year."
When I saw that message, I was amazed. I was shocked. I wasn't angry, but I said "do you even know what hard-sell means?" I went through an array of emotions, almost canceling the talk (because my ego was speaking to me) until I was talked down by my friend.
There was the moment of awakening. Often times we take things to heart by unverifiable opinions. The same thing happened back in 2017 when I had the most erroneous comments hurled at me at a company I didn't want to teach at to begin with.
But what can we do during these times? Tune in!
