Amy Sumpter, also known as MCAmy, stopped by the Morning AMp to talk all things Beastie. As a member of She's Crafty, Chicago's all-female Beastie Boys tribute, Amy graced the airwaves to talk about the legacy and impact of the iconic trio as well as the importance of supporting cancer research. This Saturday, She's Crafty will be performing at MCA Day, a celebration of the life and legacy of Adam Yauch, who passed awayin 2012 from cancer complications. The event will raise money for the Brandon C. Gromada Head & Neck Cancer Foundation and takes place Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Lincoln Hall.
