Back from an historic vacation and looking at our partisan government

Today I open with a short recount of our family vacation last week. It was a much needed break and turned out to be one of the best, multi-stop trips I have taken in a very long time.

First, we stopped in Colonial Williamsburg. I could have spent three days exploring and talking to all of the people. The historical nature of how many founding members of our country who worked, visited and met there was incredible. To think I was walking through areas that existed hundreds of years before the American Revolution.

Our next stop was to visit our nation’s Capitol. We first met with our Congressman, Barry Loudermilk and then spent two hours enjoying a tour from some of his staffers. The history was fascinating, regardless of the kinds of politicians who are currently walking those halls. While D.C. may be a sewer, it is nonetheless an historic and incredible place to visit.

Finally, we hit Gettysburg National Military Park. We really needed a full two or three days to fully appreciate just how big of an area this park really is. The historical significance of the Battle at Gettysburg cannot be overstated. I have already promised myself a return visit in the coming years.

Moving into current news, I open audio on the corrupt Biden Crime Family Syndicate. To set the stage, I use a bite I brought to you over two years ago between then VP Biden and then President Poroshenko of Ukraine. Then I follow with a recent audio clip of Biden assuring Poroshenko that the FBI was not going to be investigating. Finally, I once again play the bite of Biden bragging about how he demanded a prosecutor investigating corruption through Burisma be fired or else not receive a $1 billion dollar payment from the U.S.

Next, I cannot believe 20 Republicans in the House chose to NOT vote on Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s censure of Rep. Adam Schiff. The sheer damage caused by Schiff, both monetarily and in our faith of our system of government, cannot be ignored. Yet, 20 members of the GOP went weak-kneed. They all need to be primaried and replaced with citizen politicians.

Merrick Garland continues to show the country (and the world) that he is not trying to restore faith in the DOJ, but rather to deepen the divide. His actions are so against the fair application of the rule of law, it makes us look laughable. He continues to weaponize the DOJ to attack the political opposition.

And I close with a reminder that NASA has known since 1958, that climate changes on the surface of the Earth are caused by forces in the solar system, not mankind. However, they continue to choose not to discuss the science in favor of towing the state narrative in order to continue securing their annual budgets.
