In the Season 2 Carryover Series, Nickels and Spud: Shorts from Space Episode 1: Girls Night Out, it's Em's birthday, and she wants to go out and have a good time--without the guys. So, she contacts Tessa, who happens to be in the area, and talks her into joining her for a girls night out at an intergalactic rave known as the Hive. There, the girls get a little more acquainted, find some trouble (or does it find them?) and the two walk away understanding each other on a much more personal note.
