How to Ask for Help When You Are Little

There are lots of ways that we deliver our wants and needs to the universe and to each other - both verbally and non-verbally.  Ultimately, the power always resides in the present moment - what we do today will impact us and all those we touch tomorrow.  We cannot change the past, but if we are still hauling outdated ideas, or bad ones around with us, we need to know when to reach out, how, and why, regardless of where we are.  

In this podcast minisode, I unpack the unexpected possibilities and connections that often magically unfold when we get to the place of needing help and finally asking for it.  As mothers, we often feel incredibly alone in facing our children's woes, protests and tantrums - especially in public, which is ironic: why is it we feel almost more alone when others can see us struggling than when we are disciplining our children in the home?  Perhaps it is because we fell the stakes are higher - there are witnesses judging us, or we judge ourselves for our performance.  Regardless of the reason, it is important to know when we have reached the limit.
