"One thing I have asked of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple.”

This verse has become a cornerstone of my faith. It speaks to the deep longing in my heart to be close to God, to live in His presence, and to find my joy in Him. The desire to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life has guided my decisions, my priorities, and my relationship with God. It has taught me the value of seeking His presence, trusting Him more than the fear I feel, and waiting on Him in the midst of the trial or pain. 

When faced with fear, our instinct often turns toward self-preservation. Fear can trigger a response where we seek to take control to avoid pain, loss, or discomfort. In this episode, we will walk through the verses of this Psalm to see what we can learn from David.
