This ancient hymn opens with a poignant reflection on one of life’s enduring challenges: the temptation to compromise. More than 2,000 years have passed, yet the same crossroads persist—the constant choice between matters of the Spirit and the allure of earthly desires. In this episode, you will be encouraged to examine the following questions: Whose wisdom do you seek when facing challenges? Whose path do you follow, and where does it lead? And at whose table do you seek companionship and at what cost do you pay to be there?  To shield our hearts from the erosion of compromise, it's essential to honestly explore the sources of our happiness, considering where Jesus fits into the equation.
