Here’s a productivity strategy that might give you a boost in the final days of the 90-Day Novel Challenge.
Pomodoro is named after the old tomato timers you might remember from your grandma’s kitchen. The process is simple:
Step 1: Identify the task you’re going to work on.
Step 2: Start a timer for 25 minutes. Only work on the task you assigned. No breaks, no distractions.
Step 3: Take a five-minute break. Check your phone, go to the bathroom, whatever you need to do.
Step 4: Repeat the process.
This process can really help you to dig in and get started on your work right away.
ASSIGNMENT: Write for at least one hour, and add at least 1,000 new words to your manuscript. Give Pomodoro a try.
