This tip to get your writing speed up to 1,000 words per hour is scandalously simple. It’s so simple it’s offensive.
When you try this, it’s likely that you’re going to surprise yourself. Chances are that you’re already much closer to the target speed than you even realize.
ASSIGNMENT: Write for one hour.
Keep an exact record of the amount of time that you write. Write down the time, to the minute, that you begin your writing session and the time you end it. Record your word count. Now you have a real metric to compete against.
